CHALLENGE FOR TODAY!
Watch your mouth!!!
No matter what folks might say about your or what they might do to you, don’t react, but rather respond in the spirit. “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29. Don’t let the enemy trick you into shooting off at the mouth! No cursing today! No fussing today! No backbiting today! No lying today! No gossiping today! No evil plotting and schemes today! Do not use your mouth to retaliate in your flesh against those who offend you today! This might seem difficult, but remember that you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you! Respond by taking it to God, He will fix it for you!
I repeat! “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29. It will amaze you to see how God will handle the situation!
PLEASE meditate on the scriptures below to help you control the way you communicate with others under any circumstance.
With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. (James 3:9-10)
The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. (Proverbs 10:11)
The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die for lack of judgment. (Proverbs 10:21)
I have resolved that my mouth will not sin. (Psalm 17:3)
From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely as the work of his hands rewards him. (Proverbs 12:14)
From the fruit of his mouth a man's stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. (Proverbs 18:20)
The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools. (Ecclesiastes 9:17)
Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone. (Proverbs 25:15)
The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly. (Proverbs 15:2)
No man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. (James 3:8)
Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. (Proverbs 12:18)
You love every harmful word, 0 you deceitful tongue! (Psalm 52:4)
The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them. (Proverbs 12:6)
