Never be the one to cause others to sin. Too often our actions, words and deeds can be so offensive to others in ways that may cause them to react inappropriately. Often, in conversations, discussions or arguments that don’t sit well with us, because we have been wronged by someone, we have a tendency to forget that we don’t have to defend ourselves, that’s God’s job!
The bible warns us about offending others in Luke 17: 1Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! Clearly it displeases God when we offend each other and the offender will not go unpunished!
Those who provoke others to wrath are just as guilty as those who commit wrath. Most people who are wrong and reject correction are usually the biggest offenders. Instead of accepting correction and rebuke and learning from it, they allow pride to cause them to react inappropriately in defense, which is offensive… As it is so common folks to say things to intentionally hurt your and to cause out to get angry, we all must learn to avoid these instances. The bible says in Proverbs 15: 1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Don’t let the enemy pull you into his trap to discredit and defame you. Exercise wisdom and restraint! LET GOD FIGHT FOR YOU, HE ALWAYS WINS!!!!
AGAPE!
