BE THANKFUL UNTO THE LORD! 6/28/12

Thank you Lord!
Please just stop for a moment, even before you continue reading this note and just say thanks to God! In fact, when was the last time you took a moment out of your busy schedule to acknowledge God for his goodness, kindness, grace and mercy? It is our duty and responsibility to give thanks and make others know of the goodness of our God.
1 Chronicles 16:8Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
10Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

There is just something about a grateful heart that gets God’s attention. God has a way of meeting needs and working out situations for those whose heart is fixed on Him through gratefulness. 1 Chronicles 16: 34O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
We must learn to be thankful in every facet of our lives, always!
Psalm 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shallcontinually be in my mouth.
God’s praise should never be absent from our speech and expressions of gratitude. Even at our worst, there is yet something to be thankful for.
Meditate on this text throughout your day and be blessed!
Psalm 100
1Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Be thankful unto the Lord, He has done too much for us to be silent!
