Call to Fast & Prayer
Instructions
May 12th – 19th.
Fasting is primarily the act of willingly abstaining from all food or drink, or both for a period of time usually 24hours or several days, also abstaining from sexual intercourse and other activities. This is a spiritual fast for a breakthrough in our life and lives of others around us. We have many spiritual fast such as the Daniel Fast, Partial Fast, Juice Fast, The Absolute Fast which we will be partaking in now. Scripture for absolute fast is Acts 9:3-9.
We will be partaking in Fasting and Prayer, for a 7 day period, from Dawn (sunrise 6 am) to Dusk (nightfall 6 pm) Praying @ 8 am - 12noon - 5 pm
Leaders, this is a mandatory request. All people that are on a regimen of medication can choose (1) one specific prayer time and abstain from food and read required scripture.
Choose one and stick to it!
1. From 6 am – 9 am 2. From 6 am – 12 noon. 3. Form 6am -3pm. 4. From 6 am-6 pm.
May 13-19, 2013 from 6 am-6 pm read daily scripture and pray the same guideline prayer and pray for yourself and family.
Please read Esther chapter 9 in its entirety on May 12th at your leisure in preparation for the following 7 days.
Daily scriptures and prayer guidelines;
Day 1 May 13- 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 -----1. Healing for the church body and oneness.
Day 2 May 14- 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 -----2. Manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit with signs and wonders following.
Day3 May 15- Psalm 51 entirety--------------3. Restoration of broken relationships in the church among the brethren in marriage and significant God ordained relationships.
Day 4 May 16- Deuteronomy 28:1-14-------4. Financial breakthrough for the church, it's members and followers.
Day 5 May 17- Colossians 1 entirety---------5. Growth of the church in and out, new location and around the world. Destruction of every enemy established against our purpose to grow and win souls.
Day 6 May 18- Proverbs 2:1-9----------------6. Direction for the ministry and accomplishments of our goals to be manifested.
Day 7 May 19- I Peter 4 entirety-------------7. Favor with God and man in everything that we put our hands to do.
