On this last Sunday in 2012, we your children, solemnly confess our will and desire to please you Lord in this New Year. We confess that our praise and worship will be taken to another dimension. Our own will is being relinquished right now as we take up the cross of your will. We give up the laziness and procrastination that stagnated our growth in 2012. We will not allow temptations to get the best of us in this new year of favor and prosperity. Nothing shall be able to hinder our breakthroughs that are already resting upon us. We shall love harder and be more caring and compassionate toward our brothers and strangers. We will not contaminate our anointing by fighting battles of the flesh. We will not slip and slide this year. We will minister to the lost and share the gospel with sinners.

As the New Year begins, we confess that we are putting off the old man of flesh and putting on the new man of the spirit.

May our confession be signed, sealed and delivered before Almighty God, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
