BEFORE YOU INSULT GOD AND DAMN YOURSELF BY BEGINNING YOUR DAY WITH YOUR HOROSCOPE AND ZODIAC SIGNS INSTEAD OF CONSULTING GOD, CHECK THIS OUT!
HOROSCOPES AND ZODIAC SIGNS;
What the word says about them!
As it’s true that horoscopes and zodiac signs have their roots in astrology by studying the stars (heavens), we must first know what the bible says about astrology before we can better understand what horoscopes and zodiac signs truly represent.
The Greek word for ASTROLOGER is “ashshaph”, which means “an enchanter”. The Hebrew word for enchanter as used in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, is “nachash”, which means to practice divination, to observe signs (the zodiac signs), practice fortune telling…all of which the bible warns against.
Deuteronomy 18
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times , or an enchanter , or a witch 11 Or a charmer , or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer .
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Anything that draws us away from trusting in God as our source is not of God and should be abandoned at once. Reminding ourselves on a daily basis that our God is a jealous God and replacing Him as our guide and counselor with the signs of heaven (astrology) is an abomination.
Jeremiah 10
1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Further more, the images representing each zodiac sign, is of a mythical Greek god/goddess. Following horoscopes and zodiac signs clearly shows belief in the power of these mythical gods/goddesses to counsel, inform, instruct, direct and govern us, whether we realize it or not. Any Christian who knows the 10 commandments will recognize this as a violation of the first commandment:
Exodus 20:3-5
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
The word of God says that we perish for a lack of knowledge. So, I encourage every reader to study these notes and share them with someone you know who partake of these practices.
