DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY? 6/12/12
Just stop to think for a moment! What is the most important thing to you on this journey called life? For many, their chief concern is how much material possessions they can gain. Some of us are most concerned about education, finding the right man or woman, getting the best job and securing a retirement fund. Others of us have no concerns at all.
My friends, allow me to say this; nothing should matter more than securing everlasting rest for your soul at the end of this life. Each of us has a soul that will either be sentenced to eternal damnation in hell with the devil and his angles or eternal rest in heaven with Jesus. Where will you spend eternity? Matthew 25:41Then shall he say also unto them (THE WICKED) on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Matthew 25: 46 And these (THE WICKED) shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Will you be among the righteous or among the wicked?
John 3:16-2116For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Seriously, where would you spend eternity, should Christ return or call your name from life unto death, this very moment? If you have to think about your answer, it means that you are not sure! We cannot afford to be unsure about our eternal destination. After we die, we will be judged. Choose eternal life with Christ. You can be sure today!
Say this prayer with me: Father, I thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross of Calvary for my sins. I confess with my mouth and I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Christ, your son, who gave His own life to save mine. I now repent of all my sins. Please forgive me and make me a new creature. I renounce Satan and my sinful ways of existing. Jesus, I receive you into my heart as Lord and Savior from this day forward. I have confessed and I believe with all my heart, I am saved! Thank you father for saving me, in Jesus’ name, amen!
