Christmas means CHRIST!

Contrary to and irrespective of much of what we will see perpetrated and displayed during the next week of what many call “ A Holliday Season”, Christmas is a celebration unto life and not death as many so unwisely partake of.

To the believer, Christmas is the marked day of celebrating the birth of He who became The Savior of mankind. Therefore, to the believer, Christmas is the celebration of love and giving according to John 3:16 which says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Many will miss the whole meaning of Christmas and find themselves celebrating unto death and self-condemnation instead. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. All across the world, if they haven’t already since the celebration began, will loose their virginity to someone they are not married to and create babies that they will be prematurely responsible for. Some will get drunk, do drugs, go to a club… for the first time. Some will even have accidents and die and go to hell because of what they did in the name of celebrating Christmas! Some will be arrested and go to jail because of their criminal behavior, all in the name of celebrating Christmas.

Celebrate this season in life, giving God thanks for the gift of His son that has brought us salvation. Spend it with you family and friends. Share the same love that Christ came to bring. Honor God’s gift to humanity by keeping CHRIST in Christmas. Don’t “X” Him out! Let this season be all about Christ. Christmas means CHRIST!
