Arise and shine and GIVE GOD THE GLORY!

It's a dangerous thing to withhold God's glory from Him!  Acts 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

God is a jealous God and will not tolerate us robbing Him of His glory.  There are always consequences, seen or unseen.  We should never try to take the credit for what God has done in our lives.  Failing to acknowledge God is the same as robbing Him, because God gets no glory.  He gets His glory when we acknowledge Him to others.

Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

For all that God has done us, we must take the time to declare His wonders and marvelous acts towards us.  Take nothing for granted!  Heed the call to arise, shine and GIVE GOD THE GLORY!

ISAIAH 60:1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you!
