A PRAYER FOR MOTHERS!

Father, we thank you for the gift like no other, the gift of a mother.  We thank you for the women of virtue, glory and grace that you chose to give us birth and for those who adopted.   We thank you for the care, nurture and love they have given us.

We thank you father for the sacrifices they have made for us. For those who sacrificed their career and financial security for our sake, we pray that you reward them beyond their expectations. For those who had to work two jobs to make sure that we had a better life than they did, we pray that you give them their heart’s desire in abundance. 

We thank you for the mothers who raised their children in the fear of the Lord and led them by example.  For all that they have done for their children, for being their nurse when they were sick, for being their protector form harm, for being their teacher, for being their nurturer and even for the times they had to discipline their children. 

We thank you for the mothers who stayed with their children, never neglecting or abandoning them, in spite of the hard ships they faced, we pray now for their continued strength, courage and guidance.  Father, please bless and keep them all, in Jesus’ name, amen!
