HONOR, REVERENCE AND RESPECT YOUR LEADERS! 11/29/12
HONOR, REVERENCE AND RESPECT YOUR LEADERS!
As I write this, the Holy Ghost is visiting somebody’s house, job, business and even ministry with the judgment of almighty God, because of their disrespect, disregard and irreverence towards His anointed vessels He has placed as leaders over His people. We are commanded to honor our leaders! Romans 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Not only are we called to honor our leaders, but we are also warned not to touch them nor do them any harm. To touch or harm them means to inflict pain in any form, be it physical, emotional or mental… Psalm 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. We may never lift a finger against our leaders, but some of the things we can say are even more harmful than our fists ever could be.
What am I saying? Watch your behavior and attitudes! Watch your body language! Watch your mouth! Watch how you treat them! Watch what you say about God’s anointed, whether it be your leader or somebody else’s leader! Too many folks are living under a curse bondage and judgment because of the broken laws of reverence and respect for leaders. We cannot say whatever we want, to, nor about our leaders. To be disrespectful and irreverent to your leaders, is the same as being irreverent and disrespectful to the God who anointed and placed them in leadership over you! This is a dangerous stance to take!
