HONOR THE SABBATH AND BE BLESSED! 4/7/13
A SIMPLE TRUTH WE IGNORE, THAT ROBS US OF OUR BLESSINGS.
We defile God’s holy day by doing our own pleasure!
Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words.
As a Christians, we are commanded to seek God first, evident in the fact that Sunday, the first day of the week is marked as our day of worship unto God! The hours are marked from 6:00 pm on Saturday evening until 6:00 pm pm on Sunday evening. My point is; anything we do during these assigned hours should be in observance of God’s holy day. Isaiah 56:2 Blessed is the one who does this-- the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil."
