Father, we thank you for the favor of life that has brought us to the end of this year. As the passing of the 2012 so swiftly approaches and is already beginning to fade away, so swiftly also must we allow the past hurts, pain, anguish, bitterness, hatred and un-forgiveness to fade and vanish away. Life is too short and precious for us to live with such weights on our backs and in our hearts… As 2013 approaches, we press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)

Father, as we relinquish the holds and setbacks of 2012, and expel the works of the flesh from our hearts, we release ourselves from the bondage the set us back. As we empty ourselves of the blockage and hindrance of our past, we now move on in victory and release. We welcome your handy works to take root, grow and to flourish in our lives. We welcome favor, blessings and abundance, both spiritually and in tangible manifestations. Thank you for the flow of peace, love, joy and happiness that is now washing away even the residue of the past. For these blessings, all the praise, the honor and the glory is thine. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen!
