NEVER GIVE OR SOW A SEED UNDER PRESSURE FROM OTHERS OR BECAUSE YOU WANT TO BE SEEN OF OTHERS.

Your giving and sowing of seed must be in response to the principle according to Proverbs 11:25 A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Give because you know that it’s a principle God has put into place to prosper you!  Don’t be pressured into giving and planting seed.  Decide in your heart what kind of increase you want to receive and give accordingly. 2 Corinthians 9:7Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

It is common practice in these days for churches to force others to give using fear tactics and the guilt trip.  Folks are made to feel less important if they cannot join the $100.00 line, so they give above what they purpose in their heart, in regret and under pressure.  God does not honor this kind of giving and sowing. This is why so many have given and planted so much and still have no increase.

Be a cheerful giver and watch God multiply your seed!
