STOP ROBBING GOD and reverse the curse of financial distress!
We have no right to complain about financial distress if we are robbing God! Every time we rob God, we rob ourselves of our financial breakthroughs. God has put in place the law of tithes and offerings to ensure that His children would never want for any good thing, but too many of us have rejected this law and are therefore suffering the consequences of our disobedience to God.
Some folks have the best paying job, but are still living from paycheck to paycheck! Why? In many cases, it is simply because they refuse to give to God what belongs to Him. They put their money into pockets with holes! When Gods people failed to build Him a house, because of their failure to give what was needed to build it, God spoke to them loudly and clearly. Haggai 1:3Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? 5Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 6Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wagesto put it into a bag with holes. This is the result of robbing God!
If you're looking for a way to bring a curse on your finances, just try robbing God, by withholding your tithes and offerings! Financial ruin will not be far behind! Malachi asked and answered this question on one robs God! Malaci 3:8Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9Ye arecursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, thatthere shall not be room enough to receive it. You should be shouting right now for the answer to all your financial distress!
It is not God's will for His children to borrow or beg. He has called us to be the lenders and not the borrowers according to Deuteronomy 15:6 & 28:12. All we have to do is to being walking in obedience. There are some awesome blessings in stored for those who walk in obedience to Gods law of tithes and offering, as He continues to declare in Malachi 3:11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
We can name it and claim it as much as we want, but the portals of heaven will remain shut from releasing our inheritance as promised to the seed of Abraham, until we STOP ROBBING GOD!
