PUT YOUR HOPE IN GOD AND NOT MAN!

 

Is your hope in the Lord, or is it in the fallible and errant existence of man?  When we hope in God, we are cherishing our desire for God to move on our behalf in great anticipation, knowing and believing that He is able to do above and beyond what we ask and think.

We can prevent much unnecessary hurt, pain, anguish and disappointment, simply by putting our Hope in the Lord instead of man.  We all maintain a certain measure of hope in our spouses, friends, leaders and even in our possessions.  This is why it hurts so badly when they fail us and let us down. God is the only one who will NEVER fail us.  We must put our complete hope in Him, expecting Him to come through for us again, just as He has so many times before.

God is our help and shield!  No man can help us or shield us like Him.  Psalm 33:20.  We put our hope in the Lord.  He is our help and our shield.

If your hope has been ill-focused, redirect it today!  God wants you to put your hope in Him.

Psalm 38:15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

Psalm 119:116 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

Put your hope in God and you will never be disappointed or ashamed.
